Is My World Globe Still Needed For Teaching PurPose Or Geologic Atlas?

Around 30 years ago or earlier when no internet access, there is no GPS system like Garmin or Tomtom or Tiger GPS, when people want to travel, they will either refer to map or refer to world globe.

My world globe function the same as other, it show the whole world as geologic atlas , but if we want to know the distance between city and we may find a bit difficult as my world globe will only show world countries and the main city due to the size. Take Russia China as an example, it only shows the main cities of these countries.

My world globe of 1foot diameter to 3 feet diameter will almost the same, as the detail of distance between cities will not be very clear or accurate. You cannot expect the real boundary between Russia China shown exactly in my world globe.

Usually my world globe is just for teaching purpose. That is to show to student where is our country and how big the area and location of certain cities, the country surround by sea area and the mountain or hill and land area. It act like geologic atlas.

My world globe will be hanging with a steel pole through the central of the world globe, and the centre axis will design to slant 22.5 degree from the gravity line, that is normal to the ground surface, it is to show that our real earth is turning around the sun with 22.5 degree.

Recently these few years, people all will use GPS to travel around instead of geologic atlas , as it will show us the direction we need to head to and it is very convenient.

My world globe will become a souvenir or gift, one thing cannot be replace of my world globe Is the 3d effect of the real globe, student or kid will quickly understand when they look at my world globe that our earth is round and the country is easily seen at the globe. Student can easily understand Russia China is side by side looking at the globe.
